"Modern" Objects and Textures

For the story I wish to create I need modern objects and textures as it's going to to be set in a modern house. Anyone know where I could find such things?

they don't exist at the moment, you have to make them yourself or wait until someone does

textures I can do. Models I can't. It could be worth shifting the story back to medieval times then.

I too really need to learn modelling. I am already working on a mod for a different game and even though I managed to borrow a few assets after I asked their authors for permission, I generally feel more comfotable using content I made completely on my own.

You can mess with their inhouse program thing.

I mean, making simple things is real easy. You can proably make a light switch out of a rectangle and 2 squares.

I know, but I like doing things properly.
