Shirt contest idea

some of you may of noticed a thread I made previously about an eve online shirt contest
seen here
with my main entry here

I was thinking that... I have a fairly good chance of winning, at least 3rd place... and well... it kind of inspired me to hold my own little contest for amnesia/frictional games
so I was wondering if anyone's interested in amnesia t-shirts or other clothing...

t-shirt kit is here, photoshop required
play around and we will have our own voting contest

voting will go for 2 weeks, in the mean time we can discuss what happens to the winning voted, whether its released for sale or the person who made it gets a free copy of it or something.... its all up to you guys

Can't release the shirts for sale. Frictional does't want fanmade shirts being sold (I've asked them). Could be a cool contest though.

I kidd, commercially it wont be ok, but I'm sure it would be ok if they paid for compensation for the development of the shirt
Its the same as paying for your own plain shirt and paying for the pens and drawing on it and then paying for posting on it to a friend cause your a good drawer and he's not
if I design an amnesia shirt or hoody, i'd have to pay for the materials, no?

I know where frictional games are coming from, bungie have the same issue with halo armor being made, aslong as its not commercial and for private use only its ok

Nope, thats exactly what i tried to do. I asked if i could just ask people for compensation for production costs and they said they might make shirts at some time, and they would rather I didn't...

they have no write to condemn fan art in the form of a shirt but overlook it other media...

clothing shouldn't be discriminated against other media types, I may aswell print out a poster of amnesia and sticky tape it to a shirt...

if they say no to fan made clothing, then they must say no to other people making other forms of fan art, machinama's and spoof's

Well you can go ahead with it. I have no problem with it, I just don't want anyone getting banned over it or anything like that...

You can make your own shirt but selling them could result in painful fines for using frictional games logo and game name probably. But to be honest i would just respect that they dont want anyone to do it. So i wouldnt complicate things.
