Hello. I quickly wanted to say that there is NOT a three-button mouse needed when playing around in the level editor. Though if you don't want to use a three-button mouse, you need to install BetterTouchTool (http://blog.boastr.net/ ) (it's a free application, don't worry). With this application, you can set your Mac trackpad (Magic Trackpad or built-in trackpad) or Magic Mouse gestures with far greater control than in Mac's System Preferences. One of those options is a Middleclick.
As an example, my controls:
[Image: Schermafbeelding2012-01-02om012145.png] The most important gestures here are Three Finger Click and Four Finger Click. Depending on your style of dragging, you may choose one, or both. To move the camera in HPL Amnesia Level Editor, hold ALT/Option and do the next, depending on which gesture you chose:

Three Finger Click
Click and hold with three fingers at the button at the bottom of the trackpad, then remove two of those fingers and start dragging with your remaining finger.
+ This gesture is easy to execute.
- It's hard to drag downwards, since your gesture starts at the bottom part of your trackpad.

Four Finger Click
Hold three fingers at any part of the trackpad (preferably the center), then click and hold a fourth finger at the button at the bottom of your trackpad (preferably your thumb), release two of the three fingers you started with, and start dragging with that remaining non-thumb finger.
+ You get more freedom and can drag downwards easily, as well as in all other directions.
- It's hard to explain and a little harder to execute than the Three Finger Click. But once you know how to do it, it's not that hard.

Also, it's possible to do a Four Finger Click style gestures, but starting with two fingers instead of three, even without BetterTouchTool, which equals dragging with your right mouse. But you can two-finger scroll far more easily to zoom. Smile

It might not be ideal for most developers, but if you want to check out the editor and don't have a three-button mouse (showing the editor to a friend while away, etc...), you can still use it casually, instead of not at all.. Smile
