And the Grunt torso just outside the guest room after you find the machine room key.

Spoiler below!
That isn't a Grunt torso.
It's a regular human torso.

Spoiler below!
No, it's a grunt torso. It has the same skin tone, and is as thick as a grunt.

Also, it's heavily implied. When you encounter the grunt in the guest room, it eventually leaves the way you came in. When you go through that same door, you see the mutilated torso which wasn't there before.

That's the game's explanation for the grunt disappearing like that. We can't have a monster in the safe haven, now can we?

Spoiler below!
Nope. If you look in the game files, it's called "Corpse_Male_Torso." Not a dead grunt.

I wouldn't mind seeing an expansion like that provided it had a decent scary atmosphere, just to keep the fans occupied until their next major release.

Of course that game would rely on the 'Daniel ending' of Amnesia in order to work, but that's okay. Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones carried on from Warrior Within's "good" ending and it flowed just fine.

I think something like this could be done as a custom story, not an official FG expansion because I seriously doubt FG guys have time for Amnesia as they are now occupied with the next game.
The story could begin with Daniel trying to find a way out of the dungeon. It should not be the same way as he came in because the elevator is broken, and some parts of the building have collapsed thanks to the Shadow.
Spoiler below!

It could also involve Agrippa's head, which stays in Daniel's inventory in "revenge ending". I mean, Daniel could search for some sort of potion to bring Agrippa back to life or to release his consciousness without killing him or something else.
