I can't get the game started :/

Solved: 6 Years, 9 Months, 1 Week ago I can't get the game started :/

Hey guys!

Spec: Win XP Pro, Athlon 64 3000+ (1.8ghz), 1gb RAM, Radeon x800 with latest drivers.

If I try running the Amnesia.exe shortcut I get a Launcher.exe error (Launcher.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience). If i roll back my gfx drivers to older version I get the pre-game setup but then when I try and load the game it crashes out saying that my graphics drivers need updating.

If I go into 'redist' and run Amnesia.exe, my screen goes black like it's trying to load the game, but then it crashes and gives me this in the Blackbox:

Amnesia.exe caused an EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION in module atioglxx.dll at (memory reference).

'Hmm, I have no idea but Try to update your OpenGL. (YOu can get it from the AMD Website if i'm correct)

This is frustrating. I've tried the latest Catalyst ones (10.2) and they give me the atioglxx.dll error, the older ones (9.8) give me 'need updated drivers' error and the Omega ones give the same error.

I'm just trying something called FurMark which is an OGL bench test.

Anything else I can try?
Funnily enough FurMark won't open (crashes before opening like with Amnesia). This is really annoying now...
