Amnesia is scary and I'm stuck at the cistern/controlroom

Seriously it is..
When I started playing it, I was like.. okay..
But now I'm currently at the Cistern/Control room and I'm somewhat stuck.

In the Cistern there's a bridge which I can't get down somehow.

And in the control room I still have to do something so the right "lift" works.
I have completed the 2nd and 3rd room in there though.
No idea what I have to do in the 1st room though.

Anyone who has an idea?

If I recall this correctly you are talking about a riddle with three weights hanging down from the ceiling and a console with wheels controlling these weights. You'll have to turn each wheel untill you hear a clicking sound. You'll see what position is needed for which weight on the other side of the hallway. There should be a room with weights, too, hanging in the correct position.

That will lower the bridge somewhat...

You must throw a stone onto the rope at the top of the bridge...as simple as that.

That's not entirely true

The control room CAN lower the bridge

Here's how the control room puzzle works

1. Find all the loose pipes lying around, and go to the far most back room and place them onto the wall, you must rearrange them until you hear a hiss and you can no longer move them around.

2. You must go to the room with an object that looks like a very large piston, you must pull the levers until it is lowered all the way down, and the levers become stuck.

3. As stated above, you must pull the wheels until the weights are all the way to the top.

4. then go back to Cistern entrance, and pull the lever, the bridge will lower for you

Thanks, finaly got trough there.
Though I had to try the weels part for the second time, as not all weels made "the sound"

Anyone else who got stuck on this part for a long time btw?

Afterwards I went into the morgue and got myself scared shitless, and now I'm in the sewers and I don't want to continue playing anymore. :/

I second that! I have played through the game a few times and the prison still creeps the hell out of me.

it just has something to do with the teensy little fact that the prison is pitch black, and the sewers in comparison is brightly lit

The new monster in the sewers, is he blind or something? Because I've been hiding in a corner pretty damn close to him and he didnt see me.

Interesting comment given he has his face cut in two. If he is blind he may be orienting himself after sounds. But interesting theory lol
