Grunt with lantern (lol)

Hi, I was wondering if anybody could give the grunt a lantern kinda like the infected in Penumbra with their fancy flashlights Smile

Lanterns are to modern for a f*cking monster. If there would be added anything with light to the grunt,
then u should give him glowing eyes with more variable colours so u can choose which on u want to place.

Got a nice sofa
Please come and have a seat for a while

The meaning of the lantern monster is that it reminds of a human searching.
When you explore around the castle in Khalmar, you see more and more of the monsters. At first they may look like guards searching for someone and at the same time its kinda cool for the people who is is not so "brave" to get a warning if you get what im sayin Tongue

How about have a grunt with a candle melted onto its' head? It'll fit the time and look good if done right Smile

I think its a very good idea,it would be scary seeing a light move down a dark hallway and know whats holding it! Although it would be very hard to change the animations of the grunt.

With the melted candle there is no probs with the animations atleast, question is how it will look and if there will be any problems moving through doors? :o

Yes but what would it look like with a candle sticking grunt's head and not even acknowlage the candle exists would just be wierd, aswell with all the erraatic movements you would think the candle would go out?

If you read the short stories that FG released recently, it talks about how the grunts actually do use the torches... And cloaks.

Yea I know, it would look awkward. I prefer the lantern one, but would be mad hard to create animations for it i think :o

Common misconception is to assume that just because someone is monster, that it has less IQ than Daniel to not understand how to operate anything like Tinderboxes and Lanterns.
