Need guide about steering wheel for PC (Logitech G27 that is)

So I want to buy one and idk... It's my first one and I see it has a lot of settings, and I don't know what most of them mean.. so can someone teach me a bit before I get it? xD

Also, can I make it ingame to follow the exact same rotation I do in real life, I mean in the same time?
