Game dosent found custom map

First, sorry my bad english ^^'

So, i tried to test my map, but when i clicked Custom Stories, in list there was NOTHING D: *gasp*

I tried do same what here reads:
HPL2 Wiki: Wrapping up your Custom Story

But still it dosen't help :'(
So can ya' help me out of this problem?

Thread title made me laugh

I think there is something wrong with the custom_story_settings.cfg file.

EDIT: try adding a line, "MapsFolder = "maps" after ImgFIle, eg.

    StartPos="PlayerStartArea_1"

Then, make sure your map is inside a folder called "maps", which is inside your custom folder for your custom story, which is then inside your custom stories folder.

eg.) custom_stories/mystory/maps/map1.map

Also, be careful with capitalisation. Make sure that folder names are kept to lower-case.

Try restarting the game if it still wont appear in the custom story menu after doing this.

Let me say something, I personally already used the custom story "Alone". :p

I see the problem.

Make your "custom_story_settings.cfg" like this:

StartPos="PlayerStartArea_1"

You needed the MapsFolder to be recognized correctly, or else the computer wouldn't be able to find the custom story. You have to replace the "maps/" with the folder(s) that have your map and hps files in there.

Example:

<folder> Alone
|<file> custom_story_settings.cfg
|<file> extra_english.lang
|<folder> maps
| |<file> tunnel.map
| |<file> tunnel.hps
| >

If you ever plan on releasing a custom story; send me a private message (PM), with your extra_english.lang file and your custom_story_settings.cfg, and I will correct any errors
