Something Amazing Happened!!!

So guys i was going to try and boost my fps on amnesia for a test although i thought it wouldn't work and yes it didn't but then i noticed at the main menu that my graphics problem was fixed!! objects were no longer overlapping and i could see stuff i needed to see i thought it may have been somethingto do with the fact that i had to reenter my serial code :O anyways its fixed now i need to boost my fps

Sure thing besides i've never lied on here before i dont even know how i got 30 posts :O anyways look here you should see pedals ect and everthing else unless pics dark :O

You have Windows XP x86. What amd drivers version are you using and what settings at Amnesia? It cannot be the serial key though. Thats totally crazy. What if you run the game in full screen? Have you started a new game and check if still everything looks alright?

i shall take a picture of the game in full screen i have satrted the game to come to no choppy objects i shall also picture that below and my driver versions are Driver Date:10/02/2010-Driver Version:8.593.100.0 which basically means 10-02 Legacy Drivers

thats...very promising for the other guys with the same card. However, although they did install catalyst 10.2 the problems were not fixed. What exactly did you do except inserting the serial key again ?Can you explain in details all the things you did, even though they might be irrelevant? Also, attach us here the files HPL.log & main_settings.cfg found under Documents\Amnesia\Main folder as well as the file user_settings.cfg inside your profile folder(preferably all 3 files in a rar one).

Ok this may be irrelevant any i did this because i wanted easier access to Amnesia so i moved it to a different folder on my desktop all the files rofl and heres my hpl and user settings and main settings below

thank you for the files. I will provide these 2 files (not HPL.log) to other guys with the same card and I hope that this might help them. Actually, what I'm trying to do is to find what thing you changed and made the game playable. At your first post you said that you have had been trying to boost your FPS in Amnesia. What things did you change hoping that it might help you?

Tbh i tried opening a developer console like in call of duty by press "`" and "#" and "/" but what i did before was restore my computer to a earlier date as my pc kepts restarting but seriously i tried starting the game and had to redo my serial i didn't do it cause i wanted to lol it forced me to ReInsert It rofl

There is no developer console in Amnesia. There are bebug options but not a console like in Unbirth for example(an old FG game). Anyway, we'll see...

(please don't unbury all the similar old theads by the way...)
