Ok, thanks for the feedback. Have you had any similar issues with some other game which used OpenAL? I'm not 100% sure if this is the game's fault or it's the drivers what need fixing, will have to notify Creative. If it's a game problem, this will be fixed by a patch in the near future.
I'm afraid playing with software audio is your only option until that time comes.

No other games i play that use Openal, for instance BF2 play fine. Cheers for the responses tho.
