Activating a script

Hey guys, so I've been messing around with scripting, but the thing is, I don't know exactly what the command lines are, and what I need to put in the map, for them to actually activate when the player walks into that area.

I'm pretty sure it's the area, then you put in a command like, for example my operation flashpoint days; "exec "Ambush1", true" or something.

Just imagine a map folder, with nothing in it, bar a map. That's my current situation.

I tried searching around but couldn't seem to find anything, maybe Im fail, thanks in advice though guys!
