Spotlight Shadow Effect

Hey guys I'm having a bit of trouble with the lighting. So I placed a spotlight, changed the color to red, then I checked "Cast Shadows". So I run my game everything works fine until I get to the spot where my lighting was at. the lighting doesn't show at all. I went back to the editor and unchecked Cast Shadows and it worked fine. I want the shadow to show but when I check the Cast Shadow box it doesn't show up in game. How can I make it so it does show up.?? Confused

Under the "General" tab, there's something called "Gobo". Select the three dots next to it and scroll down until you find a white box. You can then check the "Cast Shadows" box.
