That seems kinda promising. The thing about the transmission series that bugged me is that the mockingbirds were really well animated.. but the structure gel puppets were just people painted black, with their lips and eyes still very normal, and you could tell it was just smeared on them as the scene went on.
I hope this time they have real WAU puppets like the proxies in the game.
Or at least make an "early stage transformation" that isn't as cheap as a person smeared in black goo.
