RE: Cooking and Baking! - Electra - 04-24-2012 1) Probably cookies with some milk. :3 2) Sphgetti with Beer-Cheese sauce. Took about 3 tries to make a good batch. (I burned it the first time, was too salty the second time, third batch was just right although I may have to adjust simmer time) 3) Dango (Steamed Rice Balls). So much I have to do for so little food 4) See 3. They ended up tasting bland and overall ugh..... RE: Cooking and Baking! - Statyk - 04-26-2012 Cooking isn't just for women, gentlemen. In fact, there are more male chefs in the world than females if I recall correctly. Me personally, I love to cook whenever I get the chance (even at the age of 18, my parents can't trust me with a stove for some reason. They say I'll get distracted and burn the house down yet they have burnt quite a few things by being distracted on tablet/ipod >> Oh, and I've never burnt anything so I don't see their point...) and I'd have to say: 1) Like Rapture... Sandwiches all the way. 2) Again, I didn't get many chances to cook but I love cooking a full breakfast. Eggs, Bacon, Pancakes, Sausage, and toast =3 3) Brownies. God's gift to mankind. 4) Hmmmm.... At the moment, I can't think of anything. Again, I'm limited to cooking >> RE: Cooking and Baking! - Arvuti - 04-26-2012 (04-26-2012, 02:42 AM)Statyk Wrote: Cooking isn't just for women, gentlemen. Also, I agree with the comments about men knowing how to cook. I got most of my cooking skills from my dad instead of my mom. He tended to make a wider variety of things, and when he tried to make stuff for the first time was generally more successful than when my mom did... And damn, could he bake some amazing freaking pound cake. -drools- RE: Cooking and Baking! - joshzilla - 05-06-2012 1) For a quick meal, I like to make grilled cheese sandwiches with bacon & tomato. Sometimes there would be soup on the side. 2) It would probably be mochi icecream. Took me awhile to make, but it was worth it! 3) I loved making Baked Alaska. It was a bit tough, but I finished it well! 4) I tried making fried chicken. I tried to make the breading for the chicken, but all I got was a soggy crust. No crunch to it. I was disappointed! |
