Since people are questioning that you actually purchased the game on Steam, could you give us some proof?

I wouldn't mind, but I'm not quite sure as to what a full proof method would be. If any of you were to add me on steam ( The Blind House ), you should be able to see a message in the Steam community ( friend sub-category ) that says The Blind House now owns Amnesia: The Dark Decent. Of course, it still may not appear because this event would have happened before you added me as a friend... Perhaps a screen shot of this?

I was thinking of your library, with Amnesia selected. This would give us proof, because non-Steam games won't have the news section, hours played, the screenshot in the background, etc. that a Steam game has when you put it on there.


Also, have you tried verifying your game cache files?

Come on guys, stop thinking people pirate the game left and right. It creates a bad mood if evey support thread has these alegations.

Exactly, thx Jens. It has started to look really bad. This question is asked in some cases, not every time.

I'm sorry, I just have a bad experience where a majority of the ones I tried to help with turned out to be that way. I'll fix that right up!

I apologize to the OP, but honestly, I think the arm animation looks fine. Perhaps not slowing it down would've made the jitter more noticeable? I think there's a normal small jitter in the animation, but I never really caught it. Maybe you see something I don't =\

I honestly don't believe a video really does it justice. I can barely see it in the video myself, but if you look closely, you can still sort of see it hitch a bit. Here's a video of it at normal speedSadre-rendering video right now)
The more I watch the video the more I think it's less useful. It just really doesn't come out on YouTube. It's definitely not playing the video at 60fps.



It's easier to see when playing the game at 60fps because while the game itself is running at 60fps, the animation almost looks as if it's running at a different frame rate. It doesn't appear to be the whole way through the animation either. It appears to look buttery smooth at the very beginning of pulling out the lantern and at the very end of putting it away.

It could just be your eyes and being a bit picky, in my opinion. =P I'm sorry it's bothering you though. Lol, try to focus on what's around the corner more when you play.

I think you're right. I need to rip out that OCD-like mentality and try to focus on the game itself. This is a great game, and I really love its atmosphere so far... It already has me jumping at nothing Big Grin !
