4. Take the layer you created and now it should show you black picture with the edges of your picture.
5.
Paint the inner part of your picture with white. (Use Paintbucket)

I don't understand these 2 :/.

Maybe you should do video (A)?

1.
Click the layer's picture on the left, bottom side. (Ctrl+Left Mousebutton)
2.
Go to Channels.
3.
Click the little thing at the bottom, under. Create new channel.
4.
Take the layer you created and now it should show you black picture with the edges of your picture.
5.
Paint the inner part of your picture with white. (Use Paintbucket)
6.
Save the file as .tga or .png

Don't use Gimp to do alpha channels. It gives you bad results in my opinion.
Thanks, next time I'm in my Digital Imaging class, I'll give it a shot.
And PNG doesn't even TRY to show up. lol I guess the game (menu) won't load .png's... I'll save it as a .tga

It won't load a .png file if you point to a .tga file in your menu.cfg file for MenuLogo.

I was already on that idea. It doesn'tsay it anywhere in the menu.cfg or main_init.cfg

Those aren't really suitable for full conversions. ptest_menu.cfg is a better example since Justine is a full conversion.

Ah ha ha!.. I see what you mean. Thanks for that tip. I'll keep it in mind when I'm going to "convert" my campaign.

Sorry to bump this. But I still can't figure it out. Anyone have ideas? I have the .psd file (photoshop file) but no photoshop at hand at the moment.

If you're willing, i could try to do a livestream of me attempting to replace the Justine logo with my own.
