Player start area help and lights - jtylerg - 08-14-2012 Very new to this kind of thing so this is probably a dumb question... I added a small "playerstart" area type into one of my rooms, but when I test the game I start outside my building. Help? Also, how do you get lighting to work... the room is completely dark even after i added a "Boxlight" area spanning the entire room.. i know i'm doing it wrong but any help at all will be appreciated.. i'm slowly learning! (: To be more precise, i start outside on my roof.... but i can still see inside. RE: Player start area help and lights - EXAWOLT - 08-14-2012 remember in your customstorysettings.cfg file, you probably wrote: player start area: PlayerStartArea_1 if you have changed the name of the area in the editor, youll need to change the name of it in the cfg file. the box light maybe is unactive?
