Hmm, maybe. Worth a look. But is there a way to make sure no viruses or any unwanted files to come in to the Terabyte-disk (now incase this still doesn't work)?

But actually, I'm not using that virus program. All of them are from MalwareBytes or Iobit.

Well, if this is a Windows only virus, then I can imagine using a different file system would keep the virus hibernated, but it would probably still be present and awake if you were to connect it back on Windows. I'm not too sure on how to transfer files safely, by filtering virus files out. I do know my old IT teacher managed to do so on a half broken USB pen, but unsure how. I think he used 3 antivirus softwares, including AVG and Malwarebytes, sending it through a dummy computer or something, but I don't know the details.

Well, the files I wanna send over to the disk is my mod, games, passwords and stuff like that. Shouldn't be that big chance that I send over the virus over to the USB. IN CASE IT DOESNT WORK!

The games you can probably exclude and just redownload or reinstall. Would save a lot of time and space and perhaps lessen the chance of an infected file. User data for the games you might wanna keep, the rest is easy to get back.

Well, I removed McAfee software which appearntly I had all this time. It only did a temporarly effect though, as it began lagging again 30 minutes later. At this point I feel like I'm out of options and I have to reset the computer.

Unless there's anything else left to do or what you can try.

Well I'm not sure. It probably has many reasons to happen, so a reinstall is probably the simplest way if you are okay with doing so.

Forgot to tell you this. Since my family had borrowed a movie to watch, I joined them and my computer was in resting mode. When the movie was over (around 1 hour and 30 minutes later), I went back to the computer and started it again. Then suddenly it began working again. Had 5 browser windows up and the internet on, didn't lag at all. For some reason.

I'm gonna try later today if its still working still.

Sounds good. It might still be a good idea to investigate whether it is a virus or not, but if not, then you probably won't need to format your drive after all.

Yeah, let's hope so. I'll update this when I again get home.

Alright, so it seems like when the computer launches, some software is starting and is beginning to eat the CPU. When I put the computer on rest mode and then turn it back on, it becomes normal. The super major lag came when someone sended me a message on Skype. After the rest mode it became normal as well.
