This game needs a targetting reticle. - drbob - 03-10-2007 I've been playing through the demo and whilst I'm having a good time for the most part I find picking items up very frustrating. It can sometimes take 10-20 seconds of scanning back and forth over an item in the hope that the hand or eye icon will appear, this really breaks the immersion far more than a target dot would. I can understand your desire to for no icons on screen but I really think an optional target dot would be unobtrusive and go a long way to making the game less frustrating to play. RE: This game needs a targetting reticle. - Thomas - 03-10-2007 Perhaps we will add this to a patch after release, we have not added it since nobody complained when playing the tech demo For now, pressing R and going into Interact mode is the best way to search an area. RE: This game needs a targetting reticle. - Dark - 03-11-2007 if you do, make it so that you can toggle it on and off in the options screen it takes you a lil bit out of the game imo and i never had any problems mostly if i cant pick it up i use interact mode and then there are no problems |
