This game needs a targetting reticle.

I've been playing through the demo and whilst I'm having a good time for the most part I find picking items up very frustrating. It can sometimes take 10-20 seconds of scanning back and forth over an item in the hope that the hand or eye icon will appear, this really breaks the immersion far more than a target dot would.

I can understand your desire to for no icons on screen but I really think an optional target dot would be unobtrusive and go a long way to making the game less frustrating to play.

yes it should defiantly be included and optional for others such as i then can get along without, and it also takes a few short minutes to add.

Perhaps we will add this to a patch after release, we have not added it since nobody complained when playing the tech demo Smile

For now, pressing R and going into Interact mode is the best way to search an area.

if you do, make it so that you can toggle it on and off in the options screen
it takes you a lil bit out of the game imo
and i never had any problems
mostly if i cant pick it up i use interact mode and then there are no problems
