Game crashes when moving from the Nave to the Chancel - gradford - 01-14-2011 Dear Frictional Games: I love Amnesia, but the game won't let me finish. When I move through the door from the Nave to the Chancel, the screen flickers, and goes completely white. When I click on the mouse, I get a message saying "Amensia.exe" is not responding. I have reinstalled the game, and get the same problem. I also downloaded and installed the patch, but, again, the same problem. The game repeatedly crashes on me when I try to enter the Chancel. Hope you can help! RE: Game crashes when moving from the Nave to the Chancel - jens - 01-15-2011 Have you tried loading an earlier save and then go to the chancel again? So start from a save in the nave and try again. RE: Game crashes when moving from the Nave to the Chancel - gradford - 01-16-2011 Yes, I tried that. I open the door from the Nave to the Chancel, I get the cut-screen graphic, and the music plays. Then the screen goes white, like it does when Daniel has his reveries, and the music and sound effects keep playing, but the white screen remains. When I touch the left button on the mouse, I get a message saying "Amnesia.exe is not responding." This happens when I "continue" the game. It also happens when I try and back into the Chancel from a previous saved game, which do load, BTW.
