More probably it has to do with something else, non related to graphics.
That said we just completed the game a couple of weeks ago. It has been very fun, good work! |

I have tested that the sound issue happens both using a Radeon HD 5870 and a Radeon HD 6770. The sound adaptor is ALC888, and the CPU is Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 with updated microcode.

The integrity of the game cache was okay, and the graphics card mets the system requirements. Loading from a previous point fixed the problem for me.

A bug in my cloud folder syncing service wiped my Amnesia and Penumbra receipt, which had the links and keys for downloading the games. Those download links pointed to the Frictional Games site itself... |

I'm experiencing the same issue in Ubuntu 14.04 and 15.10 with Radeon HD 6670 under the open source drivers.
Installing the proprietary drivers isn't an option for me, because it brick the entire ope... |
