I know they've said that the next game they are focused on isn't going to be about horror... (or well not full-on horror like Amnesia was)
but what if they changed their minds?

What if they thought "Hey, Amnesia was a giant success! We should probably try to make another Amnesia game... except scarier, more monsters, a longer story etc. (or insert your own thoughts here)"

That can happen...

Then I wouldn't call the game "Amnesia".

When it becomes a different story, I would search for an other name.
But I'm sure, they can't make a game without horror. So I think, Amnesia 2 will be a full horror game again.
I think they changed their minds, but they don't try to top Amnesia 1. They still do what they can to make it scary again - with even more adventure puzzles.

Its most likely going to be another expansion of Amnesia: The Dark Descent as it already says Amnesia on the image. Why would they do that if it was going to have a completely new title?

Would be decent if you were playing at the dig where the orb was discovered, seems like a possibility. Or maybe another orb was discovered in China and Daniel is going to destroy it?

Would be nice if we had a proper announcement FG!

Well I mean like, say, Crysis and Crysis Warhead. Same gameplay, similar title, similar story but not the same character. It's getting their best efforts I'm sure, so it'll be great regardless.
