Game crash in chemical storage

Solved: 8 Years, 9 Months ago Game crash in chemical storage
The game will always crash for me in the chemical storage just after taking the last chemical product.

I tried playing from the worm chase again, but it's the same thing over and over. The game just crashes when taking the last chemical product. The order I do it doesn't matter. It's always *the last one*.

I'm playing Windows version under Linux with wine, but I came into there without any problem. Also, wine won't show any error, fixme or warning.

Blacbox won't work under wine, sadly. I just can take an screenshot if you want.

Here you are. Also attached two savegames from different plays (from the worm chase) and a Blackbox screenshot.

Thanks for the fast reply Smile

Hmmm, that hpl log is missing alot of information. Did you edit any of it out?

Please -REP me.
Honestly, please do. I want to see how low I can go!!
Ignore that error message too. Just ignore it and keep going to give me -rep.

As a far as I can see it is not..

Not sure what the problem is though. Will check the save game tomorrow. Meanwhile, please try the patch.

Yes. It crashes always.

Anyway, since you've never heard of this and you don't get any crash let's say it's a problem of wine.

After some tries I could edit the savegame to have the last chemical product. I didn't know that I only needed two of them, though. So problem fixed here.

My flatmate is going to install it under Windows in the same machine, so I'll try the savegame there later.

Thanks.

I have the same problem in the same place !

Windows XP SP2 and lots of fixes ^)
Latest video, sound, chipset, etc. drivers Smile

I have all chemical parts except 'C'. Visited incinerator with no luck.
When I return to chemical storage game always crashes.

If I don't need part 'C' or don't have to return to chemical storage for it
please just reply by email to avoid spoiler.

Thank you in advance.

Why the hell do you run 'Penumbra: Overture' under wine since it's available on GNU/Linux?
