Please Help!! Custom .map files won't show up!

The .map files I made in the HPL Editor won't show up in Windows Explorer.
I can find it in the HPL Editor by going into open or save file. But in order to move the file I have to make a new .map file. I already tried changing the folder settings so the hidden files are no longer hidden and they still won't show up. Please help!!!
