If you keep on reacting like that, yes.

Off-Topic:

JustAnotherPlayer,

I have recently noticed your posts, and I must say that you aren't the one that came a few months ago:

The first posts you made were kind, well written although you had some occasional flaws in your grammar (though I have them too) but lastly you are acting a bit superior to others, and a-seeking more-and-more attention:

When I post a screenshot, I simply wait and wait: FG users don't all log in at every time they can. It's understandable that posts for your screenies can take a certain time to be answered, so simply wait, and, if you don't get criticism, ask nicely and politely: "Sorry, I haven't received criticism of my screenshot yet, here's another time just in case you missed it! Smile"<Image>

In development support, you give half-made answers, and sometimes they aren't enough to correct the error. You sometimes act like the others should automatically understand what you say and pay attention to what you do, but do you know the truth? Here everyone's free of doing whatever he/she pleases, and don't always have to care about what someone posts and what others don't. Imagine: Could you actually track what 50-100 users say and not-say at once? And do you really care about what others do? No, right? Well, others can not care much about what you do.

I gave time to this, but you followed the same way, and I think I had to tell you this. This sentence you just said, perhaps without thinking it much, has forced me to say all of this.

Sorry if something from what I have said has offended you in any way.

On-Topic:

Your second image looks way too empty, you should, in my opinion, add a lamp in the ceiling and, if possible, a carpet and some furniture.
In the first image, everything is quite colorless, add some point lights to make more contrast.

As the light that enters is blue, you might want to change the colour of the room to a faint blue, according to your window. I'm not a level master, but you should, in my opinion, add some elements like a pedestal, a bust, a plant, something to make it more interesting.

Alright, thanks! And yes, I'm the room is very empty, that's what I said you should focus on the lighting. I'm currently decorating.
How do I make the room faint blue? Just add a blue pointlight or boxlight, or just adjust the current pointlights?

RE: Screenshot criticism thread

@ Smoke, I'll take a stab at it:

-First, the billboards are too bright, and seemingly uncolored in general (as if all the values are 1/1/1/1). I tend to use very low color values (below 0.075 at least), and just use a lot of billboards. It makes it seem less like "oh hey, there are a bunch of 2d textures in front of that window" and more like actual light rays; amorphous.

-When coloring lights against that type of floor, they have to be a bit more.. "exaggerated" or else the blue light from the window will appear very white like in your screenie.

-I'd suggest toning down the overall brightness of the area (i.e. the boxlight value and overall number of lights sources). If everything's that bright it just kinda... blurs together. You have an opportunity for some good contrast by having the blue window and the yellow candles in the same room though.

For other things not concerning lighting:

Needs oodles of detail. A table and chairs is a good start, but it could be so much more. There are countless entities to choose from to liven up your rooms and make them less like boxes with a few things thrown in, and more like a real room. Books, bookshelves, plants, curtains, pictures, clocks, and plates just to name a few. There's no real systematic way of doing it, just figure out the purpose of the room, and cater the detailing towards it.

I rate it 3 memes.
