If Daniel and Alexander got arrested by the Prussian government moments before the game started and had a few hours to go on trial before the Shadow kills them (unknown to the court), how would they get charged?

Well, considering the times and location, they might be accused of practicing the dark arts. Along with that there would be murder and kidnapping among others.
