Right now, I'm keeping an eye on GTA V, Watch Dogs and of course, aamfp.
When i first saw the GTA V trailer, i wasn't really excited about it and thought to myself "It's just gonna be the same old crap again, big deal".
But, ever since i watched the official gameplay video, my hopes went up a bit because of the fact you can plan your missions, customize cars, buy real estate and invest in the stock market.
However in terms of gameplay, IMO, Watch Dogs is gonna kick GTA's ass.
Being a hacker + a vigilante in an open world is just pure fucking win.
The fact you can just stalk people around, learn about their lives and decide whether they should die or not gives me a boner.

I think it is probably unfair to put Watch Dogs and GTA in the same category. They are both open world games but GTA is a sandbox game, whereas I don't think Watch Dogs will be. Either way, i'm hoping that Watch Dogs will be different to GTA, don't want a copy of GTA but more techy.
This game is only coming out on the next gen consoles sadly, same with Watch Dogs I think? But it looks interesting, and again an OPEN WORLD.
Biggest surprise for me was seeing Tom Clancy's name on it, in recent times the majority of stuff he puts his name onto has looked and resulted in being mediocre.

Rockstar have always been doing this. By this i mean, they release the game on consoles then, 6 months later, the PC version comes out.
Thankfully, Watch Dogs is coming out on PC from the start on November 22 (My birthday )

To break away from the normal shooters and trending market, I'm actually waiting for another video game crash session (period where people would stop playing video games because they were crap, which would be fixed by the release of the NES). When this happens, I will be looking forward to the games which will revive the video game market, as we will have newer ideas and better content/technology.
But in terms of what I want this year, probably just Rune Factory 4 and AAMFP.

Super Smash Bro. for 3DS/Wii U
Walking Dead Season 2
Super Smash Bro?!? That's pretty cool, i remember playing this game on n64 12-13 years ago.
Walking Dead Season 2 is pretty cool too.
I loved the first one

I'm getting sick of the whole FPS hype that's been going on since Counter-Strike 1.5 myself.
But the good thing is, more and more game developers stop working for the big dog and start their own indie game company.
Because of this, i think we're about to witness big changes in the gaming industry.

I don't think Watch Dogs is going to kick GTA V's ass. I was super hyped about Watch Dogs until I saw the gun, at which point I figured it was gonna be another 'one of those'.
