Seriously, this. I'm a sucker for historic settings, and this sounds freaking cool.

You seem to have some preconceived ideas that a new engine somehow means better graphics - like that matters - and more realism.
If the graphics and realism is the same as TDD or Penumbra why should that matter? Surely the graphics of a game isn't the point of the game, right?
definetly right i'm still playing FF4 on snes and ff7 on PS1 so graphic does it mean good game bunch of Ps3 game are so focus on graphic that they forget sometime good storyline

I had a dream where the 'final boss' of AMFP was a gigantic cyber-pig machine. Sounds stupid, but so did the Tesla-Pig and that's become one of my favorite moments in Amnesia.

RE: Some new ideal for frictional games
You guys do know that sci-fi does not necessarily mean 'futuristic'?
Science fiction can also mean extra-terrastrial, and I personally believe FG will do something involving Yithians, the so called creators of the universe by H.P. Lovecraft standards. (Something FG has been influenced by in multiple occassions.)

It's a new IP, not a ''new amnesia". And it's going to be sci fi related, so i'm already excited.

Thank god for that. I like that Amnesia 2 was at least developed by a team wanting to push the horror in a different but still potent direction (as opposed to being retooled into a co-op shooter), but I'd much rather they make a new story. The worst thing you can do to a series is milk it to death.
