RE: How long it took you to finish the game?
Between 3-4 hours. I did enjoy the game. But after checking how long it took me to beat this, and then comparing it to Dark Decent (9 hours with both the original + Justine) I suddenly feel, eh, empty-ish?
Don't get me wrong, I loved Machine for Pigs. But when I compare it to how many hours I put into TDD, I suddenly feel like I've had something taken a way from me that I deserved to have.

6 hours, read all notes, explored every crevice and taking lots of time admiring the monsters.

RE: How long it took you to finish the game?
4 hours.
By the way formally same as Outlast, but a Machine for Pigs playthrough FEELS LIKE A LOT LONGER.
As long as rhythm of playthrough is drastically changes it feels like a lot more then tiny 4 hours, it feels like the Dark Descent in fact. I presume that's because of the nearly the same amount of impressions I personally have got. I have memorized the Dark Descent as a story with at least 10 drastically different real big "impressions" aka castle part, mansion part, flooded tunnels part, storage, prison, cistern machinery part, sewers, choir, transept and chancel parts. That's my own impressions, of course. And it is not the maps list, it's kinda list of big twist in a mood of playthrough. I do not know how else to explain. So back to a Machine for Pigs the list of big impressions would be nearly the same and I believe that is why it feels long enough. IMO once again. I have to make a second walkthrough to memorize it a bit more as a whole and look-around by knowing what is awaiting for me ahead, now I am too focused on emotions I got by finishing it for a 1st time, a Machine for Pigs. Anyway, I do not want to insist that my personal opinion is the right one.

Not finished. 1-2 days. I think I'll finish this in a week or two.
Most of the time is used for me to cower in my happy corner or to play other games. I can't stick with AAMFP all the time you know.

RE: How long it took you to finish the game?
Am I the only one who needs longer than 10 hours?
I will post the complete time when I finished the game, but I still doesn't reach the end after 10 hours of playing.
So it isn't shorter than TDD for me.

6/7 hours. I played 1 hour a day, explored everything and walked in a gentle pace instead of rushing through the whole game and I didn't die once. Seems pretty acceptable to me.
