I think you're right there, after reading the blog I'm rather excited to see what sort of development information they release along the way, I really hope they keep the spoilers to a minimum too.

Personally I never complain about the release date being pushed back, I also don't feel that a 2015 release is too much of a wait just to play a game; it takes as long as it has to.

It will not be 2 years for crying out loud, Thomas mentioned early 2015. That is a year and a half at max.

The same reason why bands record and release eps, to make sure they put stuff out that can be discussed, mentioned and overall talked about in the media.
