I backed the game "Awesomenauts", and one thing I am not is disappointed. I love the updates i get, I got the beta of the game too. It's so much worth it, if you're hyped on a game.

As is the case with all games, it will depend on your playstyle, but 2-3 hours is the estimate given by the developers themselves:

I don't think I've ever heard of a game with this kind of budget and development time (it had been in development for many years prior to the Kickstarter) being so short. Like I said before, if it's tight and well-polished it's not that big a deal, but 2-3 hours... it would take you longer to watch one of the Godfather movies.

I'm also a backer and can't wait! About the lenght... yeah we will see, for some games a shorter playtime fits better. Gone home was in the same price class and had 2-3 hours playtime (depending on playstyle) and imo it was the perfect lenght.

I got my Kickstarter survey email yesterday, the email said that backers would get the game several hours before everyone else. I hope that's true, because I NEEEEEEEEEED.
