Maya. Need some help...

Hello.
I'm new in Maya.
i'm making some things.
For my amnesia game.
Modelling is not the problem.
but how to export it?!
i'm making a sort of GROUND but you know.. that
Iron ground thing... like .. idk. but the texturing i don't know to. but i'm learning this later.
but what i need to do with opencollada or something like that..
is there a link to download it?!
the ONLY thing i did is just pick up some Polygon things to make a beautifull ground thing.
Nothing other. what do i need to do now?! save.. or somethings.. :S i really want to learn this!!

EDIT: Texturing worked to.
HUH?! THERE IS NO OPENCOLLADA FOR MAYA 2014?!!!!?!!? (WINDOWS) ?

You can get a 3 year student trial but I'm unsure about 2011. They seem to have pulled it from their site.

Maya is very expensive. Did you just buy it without knowing whether it would work or not? That's what the trial is for, make use of it.

Perhaps you're able to ask for a refund, but I wouldn't count on it.

I used the trial. But i Really didn't knew that open collada was for mata 2011 only.
But it's not a BIG problem. Only the EXPORTING part needs collada right?
because i made some models Without collada.
I will buy 2011 Version. Can i open my 2014 made model (With opencollada this time) And export it...?

There is a rumour based on 'old information' suggesting that only Maya2011 works with opencollada. That isn't true! As you can see on this page, opencollada is now supported on newer versions of maya as well!
