Might as well be true, don't hold these pink goggles very dear to your heart. ChineseRoom switched to console market too.

I wouldn't call it "switched". That sounds like they stopped making games for PC, the best console at all. I think it is great to support all platforms, but the PC should not become out of focus. There are so many games where the PC version sucks because of a bad console port. And not to mention about all the exclusives.

Not sure what you mean by the cryptic "don't hold these pink goggles very dear to your heart". Probably a Russian saying that got lost in translation.
It seems that you've misinterpreted what Paddy said; by "their next game", he meant SOMA.
But Thomas has recently stated that an Xbox One version after release is a possibility:

I'm sure when the game sold very well, there will be also a XBone version. They also thought about porting Amnesia to consoles.

I'm not sure if I said this already, but I wonder if the console version of SOMA will get something different instead of the custom story feature that the PC version has. Perhaps some DLC later on for both versions?

How could the release possibly be so soon if they're entering Beta "a few months into [this] year"? Or am I misinformed about the general length of the Beta phase in video game development?

I did not. I wasn't talking about XB360 or Xbox One (as far as I know SOMA was confirmed for PS4 only with Sony' support), I was talking about consoles in general in the context that main aim is the console market.

Yeah, I'm curious to know this as well. But nothing has been said about it by FG yet (at least as far as I know).

The "Q1" info in the magazine might be just a placeholder.
