perhaps they are kidding? it is assumed that something was going to happen today because the counter reached 0 and so far nothing has happened, no videos, no trailer, nothing
By the way, I found something interesting in the qWxx.txt code. There are 8 bytes (C04D57B02B2B61C4) that appear twice in the data. Probably encrypted in ECB mode with a block size of 8 bytes. Maybe XOR?

"The shit in parenthesis are order in order of what the digit is likely meant to be. So in the second line, the character is more likely to be a U than a V."
There is a lot of background noise in the sound files, other than the loud beep. Perhaps someone can listen to some frequencies and find out if the files contain anything interesting?
Not sure how useful this will be, but I did a frequency analysis of the qWxx.txt file and here are the results:

A few hours ago I ran the audio through Sonic Visualizer (it reveals a visual spectrogram, useful for finding a specific kind of hidden message in audio) but didn't show anything for any of the audio so far, so if there are hidden messages in there they aren't spectrographic in nature, at least.
Spent ages trying to remember Simon's name then found this trying his name in the console:
Apparently someone did that before.

Pretty useless, but it looked just like the garbled shit you see when you open a binary file in Notepad, so I tried saving it as a JPG, a GIF and an MP3 but none of them worked haha. Oh well, I'm at the limit of my h4x0r skillz
