So how do I get the level editor to work? It never responds. I don't know what the problem is, but I would like to create a map for SOMA.

RE: HPL3
If SOMA works, the Level Editor should as well. Just give it some time, because it can be pretty sluggish on start up.
The best you can do if you feel that there is something wrong is to verify your Steam cache if you are using Steam, as any problems with the editor(s) will be fixed that way.

RE: HPL3
Well nothing at all changed, because I already waited for it. And I also verified the cache but it didn't really help? I'm not sure. I do really want to make a map.

RE: HPL3
So I'm looking at getting SOMA within the next month. Am I correct to assume that the HPL 3 Editor comes with SOMA, or is it a separate download similar to the HPL 2 Editor?
Many thanks,
Daniel47

If you're using a Windows system, then yes, it does come with SOMA from Steam or GOG. A mac or a Linux system however seems to not have the editors come with, but will be added depending on popularity and demand.

RE: HPL3
Okay nevermind, my Level Editor works now. Yeah it was just probably I had to leave it open, because I accidentally left it open and tried to see what that mysterious window was so it was the level editor.
Also how do I upload a custom story to the steam workshop?

Thanks for the clarity. Greatly appreciated!

When you're ready to upload it (and test it in-game), use WorkshopModUploader.exe or something along those lines. It is located in SOMA's root, somewhere near the bottom of the list if you sort them alphabetically by name. Right now, I am on mobile, so I cannot check.
