My specs:

Windows 7 64bit
AMD 1090T six cores each @ 4Ghz
8 Gig Ram
Radeon 5870 2gb
Fatality sound card

I have all settings set to absolute max, and I'm only hitting like 25 FPS - 35 FPS in game. What gives? This system should max the crap out of this game @60 FPS no problem.

And yes, system defragged, latest drivers, no antivirus or anything extra running in the backround except crucial windows services. I can run ARMA 2 maxed at 51 FPS...

Thanks for your time.

That is why. Turning SSAO to full will bring almost any system to it's knees.

I'd also point out that running SSAO at any more than 32 is pretty pointless, and possibly completely pointless. I don't have a killer system, but running SSAO at 32 is smooth as glass, maxing it drops my FPS to like 4.
