Major problem/s when running the game

hello, I've tinkered around with most of the settings but i cannot run this game efficiently, sometimes it doesn't boot up at all

my PC specs

Windows 7 64-bit
2gb ddr2 800 ram
Nvidia 9800GT (512mb of v-ram)
Intel Core2duo (2.6ghz)

And yes, i've had the latest version of my video card drivers installed before the game was even released.

The few times that i am able to boot the game using the launcher, it defaults back to 1024 x 768 even though i had set it at 1900 x 1200 (my monitor's native resolution). Although the game starts up and runs fine at this resolution, the visuals are very blurry and my eyes become fatigued after playing for more than a few minutes.

Is there a solution to my problems? i was excited for this game but am disappointed that i can't even play it.

It is known that some drivers does not allow the game being played at too high resolution. I would suggest using some middle ground like 1280x768.
