On the steam version of the game, if I attempt to run either "amnesia.exe" or "launcher.exe" with a correct command line argument passing the path to a "mod/main_init.cfg" file without steam being currently loaded up, steam will load, then the game will fail to launch stating it cannot find the "mod/main_init.cfg" file.

However, if I do the same with steam launched, the game will start up correctly. It appears the correct path is not passed along to the game when starting steam up and then launching the game.

I don't think it's a bug. Steam might be trying to re-initialize things.

I was guessing steam changes to the path that is passed back to amnesia? It seems to know what file it is looking for when the error message appears, it just is probably starting in the wrong directory. That or it times out trying to read the file and just assumes it can't be read?

I should follow the steam.exe what it tries to reach.
I guess at some point it screws something.
