Profile being deleted

ok ive been trying to play amnesia but my profile keeps being deleted and i havent seen a thread on this. how can i fix this?

Sounds as if the game has problems writing the folders and files for the profile and save data. First try to go to My Documents/ and delete the folder Amnesia, then run the game again and see if it can save the profile. If that does not help, try reinstalling the game again, preferably as the administrator of the computer. If that does not help, then try to run the game as administrator.
