RE: Diary of a mad man, Chapter one preview
I beta tested an played the prologue and i must admit this looks like it can turn into something big BUT theres always two mistakes almost every custom story maker makes... including you:
- Adding too many monsters.
- Not laying out enough sounds/music.
Please, please, PLEASE avoid doing any of these mistakes when making the rest of this series. Amnesias main experiance was absolutely stunning and terrifiying because it had none of these mistakes in them! I remember Cry almost being scared in a custom story called One light in the darkness because it had these core elments! So once again please dont add grunt orgy partys or awkward silent rooms cause it ruins what can be potentially good!
P.S: my English is terrible so excuse me.
P.S.S: I would love to beta test chapter 1 too! But i guess you have enough people for that already

for monsters... i don't like a lot of monsters... even the first game had to many if you ask me. XD but as for the sound... sounds i am good at... it's the music i can't get a grip on... in my prologue for instance... i have no idea why that music is even playing, it's not what i set in the level, and certainly not in ALL the levels...

I'd look up some information as for creating outdoor invironments, it's really a pain in the ass to make them. There's some info on frictionals wiki page.

if you are going to bump a thread, at least provide new content, new screenshots etc.

I'm not trolling you, i'm just stating legit facts/opinions. I really doubt you have any experience with 3d modeling

RE: Diary of a mad man: Full conversion
I guess some people should stay quiet if they're going to criticize someone who is trying to do something.
Alright, he may not find anyone to help him at the 3d model and animation, he may not have any experience with 3d modelling, but he's trying to do something to contribute to the community at least.
