Game crashes shortly after I start it

Yeah I installed the game fine but when I went to start it, it would freeze up and something on the bottom that says BlackBox would come up but I can't see what it says. It freezes up anywhere from the typing part to when I choose the difficulty. Specs are:
AMD Athlon XP-M 2800+
2.13Ghz
512MB RAM
nVIDIA GeForce 6200 256MB OC (overclocked)

All of my drivers are updated - I updated them yesterday to make sure that wasn't the problem. Thanks for the help.
