Simply curious, it's hardware ATI problem or mistake on early programming state?

I would call it a bug. Apperntly I can not use vertex programs without having fragment programs on new ATIs. Which is kinda strange since older cards _only_ support vertex programs....

i love the techy perspective, oh and what about a patch for overture too?
