Yea. That's actually the thread I was talking about. I also remember the Thread where the guy updated the game and then it wouldn't accept his serial key. I remember when I asked him where he got his game from he said "Retail." and nothing else. Than when I asked if it was online or in person he replied that it was in person from somebody that lives far away from him.
