Wouldn't it be hilarious if it sank again?

That would be extremely hilarious, and less tragic because this time(hopefully) they will have enough rescue boats. Oh man, I'm almost hoping it would sink!

What if they build it... to sink?

And selling tickets like:
"Try how it was when Titanic sunk! Feel the boat crash against the iceberg, and jump into a rescue boat to be saved from the tragic death in the icecold ocean. Or choose to float on a door that barely fits 2 persons"
