requiem crash

Hello,
Penumbra Requiem crashes in the loading part between levels 3 & 4.
I've installed the 1.01 patch, I tried to re-install both Black Plague & Requiem and I've installed the latest ATI display drives for my video card but none of this seem to fix my problem.
I don't think that this is a hardware problem 'cause I've played Overture, Black Plague and Requiem (up to level 3) with no problem whatsoever. my PC specification is:
Pentium 4 CPU 3.00GHz
512MB RAM
ATI RADEON 9250 128MB
I didn't find a solution in this forum and so i ask for your help.
