That is completely inaccurate and wrong.

Now for the issue, most probably your graphics card drivers are not properly installed or corrupted. Make sure you reinstall them.

I reinstalled the latest graphic drivers for my laptop today,but it seems that the only way to make Amnesia and Penumbra work is to use older drivers
Is there a way to play them with the latest graphic drivers?
