Bioshock Infinite
Infinite's combat isn't very good.
What makes you think that? (Just interested in someonelse his opinion )
Vigors are boring of you compare them to Bioshock 1 plasmids imo
AI is fucking retarded, I mean, running at you with batons in their hands, while you have a pistol? Or running or standing mindlessly in open space while you are firing at them?
Very repetitive combat, killing normal policemen/soldiers stopped being fun after 2 hours. There should have been more special enemies.
I have to admit that there were a few vigors I didn't use because I didn't find them that useful. About the running baton guys, I thought that there were also a few in the previous bioshocks. They are maybe not very smart, but they deal lots of damage (especially at high difficulties) and they made it pretty difficult for me to stay behind cover. I found the combat actually pretty original in a few ways. Opening the tears or riding the skylines or at the end (no spoilers), I've never seen those things in a game before. And what about all the gear you can combine or the weapon upgrades and the tense music that's playing during a fight? Maybe the AI isn't that smart but playing the game on hard is challenging enough for me (and I'm hardcore in games ;p).
My only complaint about the combat is that I didn't encounter that many handymans (the infinite version of a big daddy).
Thanks for sharing your opinion btw
