I declare this thread finished.
The discussion isn't over who likes PDP or not, it's about our feelings towards the spoiled content we saw before we had a chance to play it ourselves.
I don't mind if someone likes PDP or not.

Have you guys forgotten about this? Although it's not from the main game it does "spoil" many things such as the gameplay mechanics and the monster - things you would expect a demo such as this to showcase. Were you guys equally angry at this video? I bet not, and this was months before release. So either admit that you have an irrational hatred of Pewdiepie or an irrational fear of any spoilers no matter how minor. I'm going to refrain from watching the video but you guys are being absolutely ridiculous. Personally, I think the importance of not seeing the enemies in horror games is grossly overstated. It helps, but you guys act as if the entire game is rendered totally ineffectual by catching a mere glimpse of it (I assume) prior to playing.
I wanted to resurrect this. Bridge, you make a good point but the thing is TDD wasn't a highly anticipated game; it didn't have such a huge following. AMFP does have a huge following and after experiencing the first game, many of us would rather not have the second one spoiled because it helps with the whole 'fear of the unknown' aspect of the game and that is a very important part of it. If you don't know what you're up against or who you're up against it really builds the tension.
TDD trailer would have been a good marketing idea in its time because not many people knew about the game, a lot of people know about it now so I fail to see the point in the PDP video for AMFP, though as I said before I do see the marketing side of it and that's fine, the problem is that it was released 2 weeks prior to its intended release which deprives a lot of people from encountering the 'unknown' for themselves, after nearly 2 years of waiting for your own encounter you see someone else's - or in my case screenshots that I accidently stumbled upon without knowing that there was a video too, let alone know that there was any footage out.
I can't say I hate PDP, I just don't like him. Besides, this isn't really an argument about who likes PDP or not, the fact of the matter is that he put something up that a lot of people didn't want to see yet, if people are disappointed or annoyed at this I think they have every right to be.
